Raymond James & Associates Opens Another New Office - This Time In Pennsylvania

Raymond James has recruited David Gunter to open a new branch in Oil City, PA, for Raymond James & Associates, the traditional employee broker-dealer of Raymond James Financial. Gunter, senior vice president of investments, is joined by registered service associate Karen Wygant and service associate Cindy Restauri, who together operate as the Gunter Financial Group . The team moved to Raymond James from Stifel Nicolaus, where they managed more than $191 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions of $1,220,000. Gunter began his financial services career in 1993 with Prudential Securities followed by stints at Wheat First, Pacific Life and Wachovia. Immediately prior to joining Raymond James, Gunter spent five years as a senior vice president and branch manager at Stifel Nicolaus in Oil City. In a similar move yesterday, RJA hired a team of advisors from JP Morgan to open its first office in Manhattan.
